Santa Claus is Coming to Town --Christmas Special

Here's a collaboration I've been working on for a few weeks now. I learned a few lessons doing this, its probably better to get anything christmas related (video wise) done in November so that when december comes along you aren't rushed to edit and post on christmas eve :-)

But that's just what I learned.

Home for the Holidays

So after a wonderful delayed flight last night from Toronto
I've made it to Calgary to spend time with my family for christmas.
My parents internet here is so slow,
but I'll try and update as much as possible.

I'll be posting the final episode of "Corey's Christmas Carol Concert"
on Thursday night at 8pm so make sure to check it out and send it out.
I like the whole interactive thing we got going with this contest
so give me some ideas, if you have them, in the comments section.

I think its fun, I'll probably doing episodes of answering questions in the new year.
So get ready because there's a lot of new and exciting things coming.

PS: my mom liked the dog video for those of you who saw it :-) I'm never using movie maker again, terrible...just terrible. Here's the video in case you missed it.

Hello Winter! eff you snow storm...

I teach singing class at a musical theatre school downtown on sundays
to some of the brightest, and most talented kids I've ever met.
So as I write this I'm a bit sad,
because our last class of 2007
has been cancelled due to an effing snow storm.

My biggest worry when I heard this was,
I hope it doesn't last long.
I fly to Calgary on Tuesday night
to spend Christmas with my family.

And if mother nature shits on my plans
I'm going to throw a temper tantrum.

But for now, tomorrow I'm off work.
I had planned to write anyway.

This is just the universe saying...
Finish ur friken musical, boy.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Maybe I'll watch a movie, OR OPRAH!!! we'll see...

UPDATE:
we're getting 25-35cm of snow by tomorrow. HOLY CRAP, thank god I got oprah.

Exam on Friday

Can I just say that Astronomy sucks
I'm sorry if an astronomer/astronaut is reading this
but DAMMIT its annoying.

I'm over it.
I can tell you
that if I weren't in school for music
I'd have dropped out

Because my mind can't focus
and the material is so bland
Making it fun is SO difficult

I SHOULD MAKE THE PLANETS INTO A SONG!!
But that's probably the most creative thing I could do with it at this point.

Also, I'm not going to lie
I'm a tad disappointed with "As I am"
Alicia's new CD
She's a great songwriter no doubt
and I couldn't do any better

But I've missed her
almost 3years w/o new music
and this anticlimax is sad

She went through so much
and yet her music seems transparent
unfortunately.
